Thai in a Box
Had lunch with friends at this restaurant. Upon perusing the menu, discovered the whole shebang of Thai foods (Bagoong rice, Tom Yum soup, Chicken Pandan, Curries and Stews). Did not know what to eat so I opted for the Chicken Pandan and a side order of plain bagoong rice. I was pleasantly suprised! I was having second doubts because the last time I had Chicken Pandan, (at TasteAsia in SM MOA) it wasn’t as good as I remembered. The dish was generous (6 pieces) and the chicken was juicy and tender despite it being white meat. Equally tasty as well. The bagoong rice was a perfect compliment to the chicken and I must say that I was very satisfied. The price wasn’t that bad either. Spent around PhP180 for my meal and that includes VAT (damn this VAT!)
My friends ordered the Bento meals that have rice and a side dish (egg noodles or tofu) with them. You can have Sirloin Steak, Spicy Porkchop or Pork Loin Steak. Those meals costs around PhP100-PhP130. It looks good as well but I knew I made the right choice with my food. Would love to try the curries next though.
