be an amazing teacher

Just finished a week of summer school yesterday. It was hard to keep a positive attitude – the kids didn’t want to be there and that is totally understandable! But overall, they did well and a lot finished their assignments early and got to leave early. Now it is time for SUMMER!!! I am pleased to say I have completed my first year teaching!

i’ll miss my kids. i think i did well, overall. i’ll re-add this goal in August:)

i go back to work tomorrow. the kiddos come back on the 27th. i think i’m ready… and i think this is going to be an amazing year

i survived the 16 days of JH summer school. i think i did all right… i have a long summer ahead of me still

wednesday, thursday friday, monday, tuesday and half of wednesday….

i’m really going to miss them. but i’ll have a whole new set for a month in summer school.

I have my firs full lesson plan in a middle school class on Tuesday…does anyone have any suggestions?

I was just wondering if you are a teacher currently? I still have a year before I finish my degree and my student teaching.

i almost put this is the “I’ve done this” category, but i decided against it because teaching is one of those things where you can never be perfect, but you have to always keep trying. i love what i do and i think i’m pretty good at it… but imagine the possibilities if i was even better.
