2. find a pool that’s nearby & cheap
3. determine a workout schedule that works with everything else

I’ve recently got into sailing – one small trip around Cardiff Bay and then the race around the Isle of Wight on a trimaran! It was amazing, an experience I will never forget and one I am keen to repeat. I’m not the strongest swimmer though, in fact, I’m pathetic. I know how to swim, just have no stamina and panic in deep water. I figure I have to get over this in order to carry on sailing…..

BrishenAlston fighting the chaos ensued insanity with deep breathing
I can stay afloat in water but I want to do more than that! I want to be able to hold my breath for a longer period of time so that I can go down further under the water. I want to quickly go from one end of a pool to the other. I want to be able to be graceful & not waste my energy simply staying above the water.
