I was actually going to go on Monday but I’ve been ill. I was all motivated and ready. :( Gonna have a go at going tomorrow. I hope I’m better, I really want to go now, it’s not feeling, like a chore anymore, but something I really want to do.

I have to start going at least weekly, but I can never find the motivation. :S Next week definitely. ;)
psibrcat is planning (#1-#43).
1. get a swimsuit, swim cap, goggles & kick board
2. find a pool that’s nearby & cheap
3. determine a workout schedule that works with everything else
4. start swimming
5. increase the distance as my efficiency increases
I’ve recently got into sailing – one small trip around Cardiff Bay and then the race around the Isle of Wight on a trimaran! It was amazing, an experience I will never forget and one I am keen to repeat. I’m not the strongest swimmer though, in fact, I’m pathetic. I know how to swim, just have no stamina and panic in deep water. I figure I have to get over this in order to carry on sailing…..

I can stay afloat in water but I want to do more than that! I want to be able to hold my breath for a longer period of time so that I can go down further under the water. I want to quickly go from one end of a pool to the other. I want to be able to be graceful & not waste my energy simply staying above the water.
