Its so hard to get up early in the morning, but the peace, quietness, and stillness of the world before other people are up makes it worth it.

I’ve decided this isn’t really necessary. When it’s important or needful to do so I get up early and when it isn’t I sleep in a little.
I woke up at 6am this morning and instead of going back to sleep I took a shower and then sat next to the open window in my bedroom (overlooking the garden) and spun at my wheel for an hour while the kids got ready for school. It was wonderfully peaceful and I really should do this more often.
This semester, I’ve gotten up at 7:30 AM every day. It’s been a struggle sometimes, but I’ve done better in my classes and been more energetic. I’m really glad I worked on this goal and I’m pretty sure it’s a habit now. Hooray!
Well, I wake up a little before 7 everyday now. But…I still want to have the energy in the morning and be happy about waking up early. Maybe I will become this person one day.
In a week, I start a job that requires me to get up at 7:30 AM… we’ll see how this goes!
Im not lazy, its just that its sometimes its warmer under the sheets 1st thing in the morning S
I’m failing at this goal so far. Help me please!! I have stuff to do in the mornings now, but it’s stuff I keep putting off until afternoon.
I don’t have class until 1:30 or 2:00 every day, so I technically have nothing to do in the mornings. This isn’t helping me become a morning person. The last few days I’ve woken up at 9:30, which is definitely a lot better than noon (my normal time). So far, I’ve just been playing around with Photoshop and learning ImageReady. I need to find some other things to do!
