I was only there for about a month due to a military exercise but wow…what a fun, bustling city….loved the way they tried to get us to buy everything and no matter what time of day it was they were giving us the “G.I. special” for being the “first customer” of the day…
Great people, lots to see….interesting fragrance in the air. and I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Korean food!!! Kimchee!!!!!!!!!!! Squid…etc etc etc

We’ve been to Beijing, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Singapore, and numerous smaller places, but Seoul was in many ways the highlight. Not as wide as Beijing making it able to feel familiar quickly, not as crowded as Bangkok yet throbbing with life nonetheless, had just as mush techno goodies as Hong Kong, and amazingly enough, when we were there at least, cleaner than Singapore! Go.
