Sammie "You have to be willing to get happy about nothing." - Andy Warhol

A couple more 2 months ago

Have sent a postcard, a letter and a parcel in recent weeks. The parcel wasn’t exactly a surprise, but I did include some photos as an extra little something for when they opened it. Working on another surprise letter at the moment.

Letters to Grandma 3 months ago

I sent a postcard to my Grandma (Jag’s Great-Grandma) written as if Jag had sent it. She loved the surprise. Then two days later I posted a little photo album with lots of photos of Jag, including a couple of her and Grandad nursing him. She loved it and rang to tell me within seconds of the postman delivering it!

Paying it forward it easy and necessary . 14 months ago

I found this web site postcardx.net and i tried it, so many good things and positive experiences have happened to me because i can give something, any thing to some one at random and that object has the power to validate some one’s exsistance by just appearing in some one’s mail box. Mail excites a lot of people, and it’s like they say about t.V. that seeing is believing. it makes me a better person. And that good deed comes back around, and for me it came just when i needed it most. hey i’m a beliver now. try it :).

I bought some miniature wooden pegs from Spotlight. They actually work! Cute little hinges. I will start mailing after I collect some addresses

fortune cookie fortune 2 years ago

I slipped a fortune into a recent letter to a friend. It seemed to fit him more than me and I like to include little trinkets and helpful, inspiring things with the letters I send. I just need to send more letters to really consider this goal achieved.

I love to get mail and I figured that sharing my desire with someone might add value to their day. Every week I send something to my guy. I find that he doesnt care so I should probably surprise somebody else.

Send out a little love :P 3 years ago

I’ve been thinking about this of and on lately. I do some swaps through livejournal and craftster.org once in awhile. I’d like to start sending mail suprises to different family members. Probably once every month. Starting with March, since Feb. is almost over and by March we’ll have all this crummy February debt gone, gone, gone!

Christmas is a great time for this 4 years ago

Though it’s a common thing to do around this time of year, sending stuff to folks who aren’t expecting it is a joy.
