I haven’t really completed it, but the timeframe has now gone, and I can’t see any way of admitting defeat on a goal other than deleting it completely.

as gave up trying to read my un-read books as we haven’t un-packed them yet.
Had a fab time & can’t wait until next year :)
I finally managed to read all the books from last year’s unconvention earlier this year, after deciding to make a concerted effort to do so. I felt guilty when I got to Christmas 2004 and realised I’d hardly read any of them.
Of course, now I just have to get through 2005’s Unconvention without picking up too many… Could be difficult.

Booked my train tickets online this evening & saved myself 50% by booking a Virgin Value Fares return ticket. Woo hoo!
Bought some more new clothes too :)
Really must find my iron-on transfer that Lucy made me so I can iron it on to one of my new t-shirts.

I won’t achieve this goal as I haven’t unpacked my books yet, so I’m going to make sure that I only read bookcrossing books for the next 3 weeks & take them along for releasing.
Also, my plans have changed for the Unconvention as Andy has offered to stay at home with the children & let me have a weekend off. I was originally not that keen as wanted to introduce my babies to my friends, but the thought of time alone on the train & a lie in on Sunday morning has won me over :)
It’s only three weeks now – how time flies! I was given a few “cult” books at last year’s Unconvention – I mean literally books published by cults, so I want to look at one of those each week. I don’t need to read them thoroughly, just pick up the ideas they’re promoting. Then I can take the books back for another victim this year.
I made the decision last September to read all the books which have been passed to me and unless they have fallen down the back of the bookshelf I think I have done it.
Only problem is I have a while new pile to be going on with now – Orson Scott Card and Janet Evanovich features highly in that list!
I know I’m going to come back from the Unconvention with piles of books, and I really need to get through last year’s first.

I’ve still not read all of the books from July last year, so must read them before July this year.
Will list the ones I still need to read later on today as my baby is crying.
