    2 months of intense yoga practice (downward dogs and chattarangas) have made a marked difference in my arms! More definition, and a slimmer bustline. My clothes look better and I feel better. I struggle so much with this part of my body, so it’s nice that a practice that I really enjoy is magically transforming me. I throw in 5-10 min of minimal core strengthening exercises (which I HATE) before my yoga class and this has helped with my abs, although I still have a long way to go before I have a flat belly and I suspect I’ll have to kick it up a notch if I really want to see the results I’m looking for. But it’s a start! My intention is to continue the intense yoga practice for 6 months, since I am gearing up to do a teacher training this year. I hope to report back in a few more months with more good news on this goal.

    O.k., so I finally ventured over to the area of the gym where the weights are! I’ve crossed the line, demystified the taboo, I am ready to have buff arms. Got my 1 free personal training session – learned some good exercises, and got some great tips from another personal trainer friend. So, now I know WHAT to do. Just gotta fit it into my routine.

    Abs. Pfff. Will hopefully write something hopeful about that next time….
