Today is my sweet Ivy’s 8th birthday, my nutty wild child who lives her life with reckless abandon. She’s at that transitional age where she’s young enough to whisper with her Barbies yet begs to be allowed to shave her legs. She’s an amazing study in contrasts: maniacal and tame, feral and mellow, reasonable and crazy all at once. She’s absolutely perfect. Happy birthday, lovebug.
