i learn about video editing

a basic, good program for windows is pinnacle studio 11… i need help knowing how to create custom menus… i’ve done some editing but need to get better!! i want to get final cut express for my mac…

I really really want to do this, but i’m not really sure how to get started. I only have the basic stuff that comes with Windows, called Windows Movie Maker, and this thing called Nero, but I think that’s what you use to actually burn DVDs, not edit.

Recently, we had to make a video for English, a kind of remake for the movie the Elephant Man which we had read in novel form. I was in charge of making the video. I toyed with every single effect that I could find, and I was quite impressed with the outcome. I got many compliments on it, and my teacher said we got a good mark.

I would like to learn video editing.

I took a non-linear video editing workshop in November and it was fantastic! I discovered that I actually have a knack for it and I enjoy it a lot. There’s nothing like taking 5 hours worth of footage and trimming it to 15 minutes. I like the challenge.

i went to NYFA editing class in Los Angeles. Yeah it was great, you can help other stundets’ work there if you like to improve yourself. After that you can apply as an intern to TV channels.
