JRogers509 doesn't know what to do, think, say, or feel.
Donate to a good cause. I don’t know if I want to just donate to some random charity that I don’t really know anything about. There’s plenty of people donating to those, so my donation wouldn’t make a huge difference.
I think I want to donate to LIVELAVALIVE sometime. Mitchell Davis. I think he makes a difference to a lot of people. His videos really cheered me up when I went through a break-up that really messed me up. He also promotes a lot of other charities too, so I think I should help him out.

I have donated 3 units of blood this past year. I recieved a 25 dollar gift certificate for doing so!!! so i will get 25 bucks worth of free gas…
i enjoy being a blood donor, but i have been having dizzy spells recently . I almost passed out at work last time i donated. so i will abstain until i get a handle on that.

Small Steps
I’ve recently started donating more of my money to decent causes. This month I’ve donated to 4 organizations that I believe in and I believe are making a difference.
I’m pushing myself to donate more, and do more. Some things I would recommend checking out are:
Kiva
Women’s Assistance Fund
Planting Peace
The Bioneers
The RepRap Project
These are all organizations that are for real, and will make a difference. Please read up on them, donate to them, or become a participant. At the very least, spread the word.

I have a bunch of yarn that I don’t really need, so I plan on knitting a lot this fall and winter. I think I’m mostly going to knit scarves and I’ll later give all of my knitted things to a donation center…

The last time I checked, more than 1,000 homes have been destroyed by the wildfires. Homeowners and their families have lost everything and I even heard the story of one homeowner that didn’t have insurance.
I looked through my closet today to find clothes I could donate for those affected by the wildfires. I filled up a bag full of shirts, footwear, and hats. I also filled up a bag with toys that I could donate as well. The evacuation center at Qualcomm Stadium are being overwhelmed with donations that they even set a certain time that people can come by to donate stuff (9am-12pm). There are many other evacuation centers around San Diego and I found out that the San Diego Museum of Art are accepting donations that they will later distribute to the different centers, so I brought my donations there. For the rest of this week, I’ll continue to look for things I could donate…
