Roseviceee is trying to decide what to do with her life and work
Yeah I just did this.
It took some time registering, printing the labels, (deciding which book to set free) and coming up with the place to set it free (since it’s a childrens book I thought a playground would be a good shot). SO at 22:05 pm I walked to the nearest playground and set my book free. hahaha, so much fun. It’r really worth doing. I also have some other books desperately needing to be set free. But one step at a time.

So I can send my books to new owners and so I’ll be able to read books without buying every single one of them and realise I have too many books (ooeh..yes I’m perfectly aware there is not really such a thing as “too-many-books). ;)

seems like it’s more worth doing in some places than others. depending on your goals entering this, of course…

This is a great concept. Once you’ve read a book, you register it, label it and release it “into the wild” leaving it someplace public where someone else will pick it up and continue the book’s journey.
You also log where you left it.
The idea is that over time the book will have been read, journaled and released, and the process will be documented on the site. I noticed someone was releasing them on cruise ships, so the book may even end up in another country!
I love the idea!

I joined BookCrossing just two weeks ago, and I love it. The way the older members talk, however, it’s very easy to end up getting more books than you send out; so watch your TBR stack! You don’t want it to metastasize, do you? :D

Well, I aleady did some wild realeses, I register some books and I’m hopping to get feedback in some months, maybe years, considering the cultural level of the place I live in.
I’m happy, good karma! yay!
