How I did it: My dad and I started practicing riding our bikes for long periods of time and kept increasing. Then we signed up and went downtown! You're so pumped up when you're there that the distance doesn't really seem as long as it is. People had their bikes decorated, and some people had really unique bikes, or even vintage ones. There were bikes with lights all over them, bikes that looked like parade floats...pretty much everything :) We ended up not even stopping once because you just get in the flow and have fun.
