I really procrastinated on this. They expire on Saturday! I was hoping my hubby would do it (I hate the DMV, or whatever bureaucratic-red-tape locale they send you to), but he works from 5-6, Monday through Friday. Sigh. Better get this done… we can’t afford a ticket!

and he’s willing to help you do it too!
But WHY would you want him too?
Finally got the sticker yesterday. Got to the plaza to use the AgBM (automated government beauracratic machine) – forgot the print-out of my e-test at home.I had to go back and get it before I could renew the plates.
Not one of the trials of Hercules I suppose – but modern hurdles for a modern man.

talk about disorganized. I’ve had the form since January, did the emmissions test weeks ago. Now I’ve got to run out and get the bloody sticker (I did pay that ticket, didn’t I?)
You know – dumb part is it’s so easy to renew here. You don’t even have to visit a ministry office – just go to the government kiosk open all hours, every day, no waiting, no line.
I’d better take the two-year option…

I got in an accident and my car is totalled. Guess that takes care of the license plates problem. New plates for a new car.

I really need to do this. Once I get my federal tax refund I’ll have the money to take care of this. Must get it done before I get pulled over and fined a bazillion dollars.

You don’t even want to know how long my plates have been expired…I think my biggest problem with getting this done is that I don’t want to acknowledge that I live where I do. That and there’s some small thrill in getting away with expired plates for as long as I have. I need a kick in the butt on this one.
