Most debt is paid off, with help…Still have about £2,000 to go..Not bad…. I don’t buy anything I don’t need now..That’s good..But I do need a cooker and hoilday… I will wait until I can afford it…So I am pleased to say, it’s going well!!!

Slowly paying it off, But a long way to go…What has change is, I don’t buy things unless I really needs it. So I have save money by doing that.

I have been debt free for over 10 years  — 2 years ago

    Worth doing!

And it honestly was one of the best things I have ever done! You feel so much less stress and you just feel so light hearted…nothing really to worry about…no interest payments! Being in debit taught me a lesson not to overspend over and above my means! Cut up all your cards and keep just one…preferably a no fee card!

    I've learned something  — 2 years ago

    Worth doing!

I learned what it’s like to have to give away half your payment every month again and again and again. I never really understood what money was worth. That I HAVE to pay EVERY month. That there’s no easy way out of this. Only I can change it, no one else. It’s harsh, but nice to be in control of my own life.
