Don’t believe everything that’s told though – you CANNOT sell everything on Ebay. Be prepared for things not selling, & plan the cost of ebay & paypal fees in when listing items.

To begin:

a year or more ago I bought some art nouveau jewellery to test selling things on e-bay and to see if I could make some money (although expecting to make a loss). However I never got round to selling it for one reason and another, and so now it feels like a pure profit to sell as the jewellery has entered the category of accumulated random things.

So first goal: just sell one item

I sold 2 tickets to the USC vs. Ohio State game next month. For those of you who wouldn’t fathom missing that game in person…not to worry…I had 4 tickets and I WILL be there!!!! FIGHT ON!!!!!!!

Turns out, the guy who bought them is a ticket broker and he resold them. So I guess he sold something on ebay too.

LOL!!! At least he paid for my season tickets!

I need to get rid of all the clothes I haven’t worn in 6 months and put it on ebay, and ASAP.
I’m moving out, so I need to clear my parents’ attic.
Anyway, I’m going for it, and I’ll keep you all posted on how it’s going.
Question: do you know any other auction sites or where I can sell me stuff? The thing is; I find the costs in ebay getting a little bit too much.

i decided to finally sell some of the clothes clogging my attic. my sister was visiting with us, so she volunteered to make all the pictures, but I still had to describe everything and upload the pics and then answer endless questions about size, pocket shape and depth, length of sleeve, number of buttons – people asking all kinds of details, even if the item was just €1 worth. and then the packing started. that was fun, i felt like a small kid, playing post office.

I sell a lot, then put it all back into ebay…it’s pretty much how I’ve funded my entire music and DVD collection.
