love my parents

when you no longer care about the outcome of something you should cross it off.

I have decided that love isn’t something you can force. I may never love my biological father in a fatherly way. I have someone in my life that is already there for me in that department.

I like them, I love one, and I am pleasent with another

I think I’ve made a considerably large leap by just calling them once every couple of days or so. They’re always excited to hear from me. Not that I’m bragging, or anything. Being a more open person can sometimes be hard for me, but it feels like just putting some effort into it helps out a lot.

are difficult. Samurai posturing aside, i just want them to not think that I’ve forgotten about them.
