I have come to the conclusion that Ron Paul is the only presidential candidate in the running who is not a complete pull-toy. This view may make me unpopular with some of my liberal friends, but if I can’t vote my conscience, there’s no point in exercising said right. I’ve been a registered Democrat all my life, but I just don’t see anybody stepping up and calling bullshit on our system of government. It’s simply not working. I believe Ron Paul can and will effect positive system-wide change, bringing control back to the States and local governments and keeping the federal government off our backs. Really, the only position he takes that I don’t personally agree with is that he is pro-life (I’m pro-choice). But he does believe that a woman’s right to choose, if it is to be legislated at all, should not be done by the Supreme Court, as there is nothing in our Constitution that gives the federal government that power.
