celebrate my seventh wedding anniversary

This year, for our seventh, we will be returning to Door County, WI for a few days and nights of R&R.

Door county is a lovely little bucolic peninsula that juts out into Lake Michigan, and has many quaint towns, shops, and a good microclimate that supports the growth of extraordinarily delicious cherries and berries (unfortunately, we always miss peak season!).

We plan to see a play, go for a fish boil (shown in the above image…although boiled whitefish may sound unappetizing, it is PHENOMENAL…trust me!), sightsee, play mini-golf, and just relax in general. :)

I would love to go back to the beautiful Notchland Inn in Crawford Notch, New Hampshire – where me and my husband said ‘I do,’ – for our seventh anniversary, but I do not think that it will happen. :(

I will have to push the idea next year… ...
