shouldbeariot is wearing brogues.
I don’t really like pie…as they mostly all have some form of cooked fruit in them, and I don’t like cooked fruit.
That being said, I tried pumpkin pie for the first time ever recently, so I should eat more of it.

I made an apple pie from scratch (with the help of my mom, I’m not good at skinning the apples). It is sooo good… Which is expected because it took so long to make it.
I had some peach cobbler today, which is basically pie squished out and liquidier.
I went to the House of Pies today and I was sorely let down by their key-lime pie. It was green, the texture was all wrong, and it was served immaturely with a bundle of whipped cream on top.
Don’t people know that whipped cream is not the right thing to compliment a pie with? It’s like saying, “Hey, let’s add more sugar and fat, without the taste!”
But on a more serious note, the green color denotes a poor quality key-lime pie. The flavoring probably came from a bottle, and the color is not necessary.
House of Pies, I expected better!
which was not a pie. I’m thinking that I should just refrain from eating all desserts unless they are pie.
I missed eating cobbler because I was so sick.
Sucks.
But is cobbler considered in the realm of pie?
I haven’t found a place that has pie in Park City (where I am vacationing). Also, this city seems to suck in the summer. Everything has this stupid Olympic logo on it and it’s driving me insane. It’s not that big of a deal! The Olympics have been going on since ancient Greek/Roman times.
Additionally, this goal seems to conflict with another goal of mine… “eat healthier.” I don’t know how this will play out.
