consider throwing a block party

so i mentioned this to dad. there are about 50 homes on our block.
the party would be during the day, hopefully across the road at the pony club. i need to have a look at what the pony club can offer in terms of stuff like power, and find out about renting it for a day. then i’ll look into what would be at the party, like a band or two possibly. who knows?

And I’ve decided that it’s not for me at the moment. Too many logistics and too much investment and organization for me right now. Will reconsider in 3 years.

How difficult is it to throw a block party in Belltown I wonder? How much money does it take, how difficult is it to coordinate, who needs to be on your side, what needs to happen, etc? I think I’ll look into it as an exercise in what’s possible. Well, everything’s possible! And Seattle needs a block party that’s all about the love. That’s the answer to everything.
