Find my Hidden Value

“We have all we need to be successful. We just need to ask the right questions to access our resources.” A paraphrase from Tony Robins’ teaching. I think it gives the key to unlock my hidden values.

I have been trying to understand what hidden value stands for all this time. Today it struck me that hidden value represents the resources under-developed and/or sold really cheap. I am very excited now because this understanding basically gives me the key how to discover my hidden value. :)

I have many skills and experience. However, I haven’t really established a successful career yet. In the past weekend, I finally knew what I need: a plan (what type of career, not just a job I want), specific goals I want to achieve (for example, my own house next year), and more discipline (such as get up and exercise on a regular basis).

I just feel so disoriented now. I am challenged with the same old question: what do I want to do with my life? Now I am a wife. I have spent a lot of time with my husband, which is good. However, as I was scrubbing the bathroom floor after cooking the dinner, cleaning the dishes, I began wondering whether I am too much a wife. I want to live a more meaningful and rewarding life.

A guy I dated the other day asked me whether there would be a cream to fill in the little holes in his face. I really believed that he looks cute with those little holes (I like more masculine looks), besides the cosmetics have seldom worked their miracles on me. So, why bother? My question though, why is it so hard for people to love themselves? Me included, we always think that we are a fixer-up project.

I love the person I am. I am positive, when facing a challenge, I keep my chins up, smile, and see it as an opportunity instead of crying helplessly in self-pity! :)

My application for credit line was declined again.. so humiliating.. I just felt that going to trial every time when I filled out the application form.. Nobody can help you. How I wish that I had the wisdom not to ruin my credit at the first place.. But what can regret do anything to help? Tomorrow, I will still need to put on a giant smile to face the new challenges..

and focus on value-added activities today. :)

May my heart be filled with joy this day! I’m appreciative of the florist who made beautiful arrangement of stargazed lilies, sunflowers, and irises today. She deserves a lot of respect.
