morning. It’s his name – my tile/floor fellow. So far, he does a really fine job and all is working out well. This is important. Because until the exterior matches the interior, I’m not so fond of letting people in.

Well, the sad part is I think the exterior of my life probably does match the interior; a bit disorganized, sometimes disheveled, sometimes dusty, unique connections happening all the time due to the lack of organization that actually end up working out better than I might have imagined or had been predicted.
But I do want to change my bathroom. On September 8th, the floor guy is coming – Ryan Seacrest – really. I can’t make this stuff up. He is terrific at ceramic flooring. He’s going to fix the floor which creaks in that room and the linoleum even has cigarette burns from the previous owner. I always said I was going to “fix” the bathroom. Now I am.
And the mirror is uninteresting and the lighting is just cruel and heinous, like something from Dr. Frankenstein’s laboratory – not a place you want to go to start every darn day of your life! Let’s face it – most of us start our days in the bathroom. So I want a room that is more like coming home than a room where you might want to perform surgery. So I’m changing it.
I stopped by my favorite second-hand store to buy a new mirror but Chesapeake Treasures was closed today. They should be. This should be their day to relax too.
So I’ll keep you posted. Let not to the marriage of true minds, admit impediments! I am going to change my exterior to match my interior. Maybe it will work both ways.
