been selling off my Forever Living products cheaper than RRP but more than I paid for them. Look for “cutehobbit” if you want a fab product for a bargain price!

Folks! I’m a copywriter, and I’ve teamed up with several seasoned eBay veterans to write a guide on copywriting for eBay.
The goal is to learn and use the fine art of copywriting and apply it to your ad listings, so you sell more items AND sell at a higher price than your competitors!
Yes it is for sale, but money isn’t really the goal. That’s why we have it up for free on the website.
If you’re interested you can read the entire thing at

i’m doing really well at this but now have a problem with spending. i have made a comitment that i can only buy something if i list 2 things straight away in its place.

sold my old car for £135 and there were 22 people watching it and 10 bids!

sold 2 hair slides for £3.90 when I started bidding at £2 so I am pleased!!!
I just don’t have the time to do this – there are more profitable ways I can use any spare hours.
...I finally added about 25 items on eBay. It will probably take me 1-2 months to get back to the level that I was at a couple years ago. I listed about three times as much on Amazon.com and sold 7 items in the last 24 hours.
...things on eBay when there was an illness in the family and I was making frequent trips to be with my family. It’s been really hard to get back on track and taking the time to sell on eBay was a low priority. I finally have enough time to start selling again and will start with the new stuff and hopefully get rid of a couple boxes of inventory each week. I have done this before and have all the needed supplies – I just need to focus.
I just realised that I’ve come to hate ebay, so putting this one on the backburner…maybe forever?
God knows the world can live with one less ebayer…{inwardly rants}
Currently dealing with the Ebay customer from Hell. Not only is his payment pending for over a week and a half on something quite valuable, but when I tried to email him politely about the problem he sends back an extremely abrupt note (complete with random capitalisation at very bizarre MOMENTS) informing me that it’s against ebay rules to discuss payment via the messaging system. ??? Oh right. So, I’m meant to just send the item without receiving payment? I think not, pal. I don’t get this guy’s problem. I’ve emailed him another 2 times with ebay’s endorsement just to be on the safe side and now he’s just not replying at all. Neither has he said he wants to withdraw from the deal or go ahead with it.
It’s times like these that make me want to give up on ebay altogether. The whole process can be really slow and inefficient sometimes. I don’t know why ebay don’t set better limits both on payment and dispatch times. It would make life much easier and protect their interests as well as those of buyers and sellers. As a last straw, I’ve been told to send yet another email to remind him the item hasn’t been paid for/there’s a problem with the payment before I can get to the stage where I can relist. What if he decides to go ahead (in his own sweet time) and I get left with my first negative feedback for taking so long to dispatch because I don’t want to be conned? It’s a shame there aren’t any really viable contenders to ebay. I think quite a few people would jump ship.
