How I did it: Hey guys, I just bought a 2009 Prius. That is my contribution to the environment. It takes 52mpg for me to get to work, compared to my 98 corolla which was getting about 25-30 mpg. i just cut my commuting gas consumption by half! Imagine if everyone were able to cut their gas consumption even by 1/4th of what they normal use. I realize gas prices have come down. But just because our Pimps (the oil industry) are treating us nice again, doen't mean we shouldn't change. I thought about buying a GM or Ford to help them out, but I realized for years they put out CRAPPY ASS cars. They made millions off the Ford F-150, and they did not reinvest their money into making fuel efficient cars. I'm not bailing them out, neither should you...

My friends and I are currently creating an awareness act where we pass on emails and update our blogs to inform other people of all the dangers of global warming. Just because you can afford the gas prices, doesn’t mean you can’t take a walk to your local grocery store instead. We may be of different backgrounds, genders, and age. You may be rich and I may be poor. Yes, we are different people, but we share the same earth.

I am up late or early watching Last Days on Earth on The History Channel. Global Warming was listed as the number one threat to humanity and life on earth. Wow!
If I, little ole me, make one minor change a day in my life, it will pass on to my children and grandchildren. One day at a time. I have to be more responsible with the little patch of Earth that I have been blessed to occupy.
