amerikaann is procrastinating diligently and consciously.
I have already lost around 25 pounds—weighing about 150 on January 1st, 2009, and now hovering around 125, and have been since June. I would really like to be at 120. I’ve never weighed that, and I think it would be ideal for my body shape, however, I’m finding it very challenging because I’m not willing to cut any more from my diet (I lost the original 25 by reducing my calorie intake to 1200-1500 kcal a day, or 200 calories, 6 times a day, every 2 hours), so I know that the way to lose this last 5 is to stick to that diet, and I will need to up the exercise. I will reach this goal (hopefully) by January 1st. I must give myself some slack because winter and the holidays are coming, and I am aware of the difficulties of maintaining weight during this time, let alone losing any additional pounds.
Let’s do this!

129 lbs this morning – well, really was careful what I ate over the weekend. Skipped going out for Sunday breakfast. Did not to any workouts but ran around all weekend with household chores, yard work, etc.

130lbs today, ideal weight 125. Absolutely no fast food, continue working out/walking daily. Weight seems to be at a stand still. Will even cut down on diet sodas – drink more water or tea. Goal date, September 1st.

my goal weight is 120. i was about 125 at the time i made this a goal, and i’m currently at 123. of course, my friend told me that ideally i should be at 115 for the duathlon on July 27. if i can get under 120, that would be splendid. obviously, i wouldn’t starve myself, but just keep working out and eat healthier (this is a sticking point for me … i LOVE to eat, and i LOVE to drink, even if i don’t do it often). but i do need to curb my urge to eat out. so, gotta keep workin’ at it.

I’m getting closer and closer to my weight loss goal. Last night I weighed in at WeightWatchers and found that I had lost another .4 pounds. That is almost 6 and one half ounces. It’s like a stick and a half of butter, a hockey puck, almost a half loaf of bread. I can do this. It’s less than a pound now to my 10% point.
Soon I will be noting on 43 things how I reached my goal weight!

Well, the long story is that I was overweight 7 months ago and decided to do something about it. I went to Weight Watchers. I weighed in that first night at 144.5. I’m happy to say I’m now down to 132. My most immediate goal is to lose 1 more pound so that I will be at my 10% loss. Then my second goal is to “see the 2 in digit 2” – meaning 129. My goal weight is actually 128 but seeing that 2 will mean so much, even if the last pound takes a bit. I’ve been taking weight off the way I put it on which is slowly in small amounts. But I have made some important lifestyle changes and that makes me feel very, very good. The next thing to work on is moving (a euphimism for exercising) more and eating more fruits and veggies… but I’m doing so much better than I was. I no longer chomp on chocolate like there’s no tomorrow or pound down potato chips as if I still had the metabolism of my fourteen year old self.

I can’t believe that I weigh the least I’ve weighed since junior year in high school, five years ago. I worked out very hard after the holidays to lose that 5 extra pounds. Now, I just have to get really toned for my upcoming cruise. :)
