It’s so I can know, and not just have an unfounded opinion on things.
I’ve only been to 10 countries so far, but in the last 7 months I’ve traveled through 7 of those in three different trips.
Next stop is probably Peru and/or Bolivia and/or Chile.

Traveling to every country in the world has become a bit of an obsession. I haven’t exactly travelled far and wide – yet, but I can’t stop thinking about it.
I have been to about 25 countries so far, which may not be a lot if you live in Europe or the US, but it’s a bit from down here in Oz.
I want to quit work, grab a 4×4, fill it with the right gear and just start driving til, well…..til I finish.
I had orginally thought that perhaps 1 to 2 countries per day over the course of a year. Just go for it, traveling a fast as possible. But then, what a waste. You wouldn’t see anything, right?
So then I started to think maybe two years, three….more? I have no idea how I would start, not even which direction or route would be good. Has anyone out there created a “Best Route” scenario? I have started scribbling on a world map and discovered that it is not easy once you start considering logistics, dangers, and political issues. Not to mention financing the whole thing.
there’s one life, one world. seems obvious to try to see as much as possible….
Ever since the first time I traveled to another country and realized what I was missing, I’ve wanted to see and experience life in every country of the world. I’ve learned so much about life and people just by living in another country. I wish to spend at least a week or more in every country, just soaking in it’s beauty and ways of life.
As for traveling to every country, I will be getting my start next year. In March, I will travel to China for 3 weeks in a China Exchange Program from my school. Then in July, for 10 days I will be in Spain for the spanish trip at my school. I am SO excited!!!
^Above is the picture of the trip through Spain
I’ve been able to travel all around the world and get hasndsomely paid for it by joining the Merchant Navy as a youngster. I quit after about a dozen years and have no regrets. I am of the opinion that it is traveling alone that can be considered as education, the books are just others’ views!!
