How to go to Chicago

How I did it: My cousin actually wound up getting married in Chicago, so I had the perfect opportunity to go! I think it's a city that is definitely worth visiting, but I wish I would have had a little more time to explore everything there was to see. Lessons & tips: Go when the weather is WARM! The city is beautiful and it would be a shame to not get the chance to walk outside along Lake Michigan, down Navy Pier, etc. |

How I did it: Went with my friend Bradlee and met up with Arty while there. We explored just about all the major spots in like 3 days. How I did it: I went with some new friends. In my journey I learned new eleements of their character, and that I have to do what I want, and not always go with the group mentality. The part of Chicago I did get to see was nice, but I know I missed a lot of it because of the people I was with. I am going there this summer, but that has been the plan for the last 2 summers. I hope everything goes well! My hubby is from there and hasn’t visited since his grandother died 10 years ago. His sister lives there and I’ve never met her or my nieces. I can’t wait!!

I have a ticket for the first time in my life to travel as an adult away from the East Coast. Aug 20 th I will arrive in Chicago and I cant wait!!!!

My husband has the time off from work and the in-laws know we are coming. September 13th we are off to the Chi! I am so excited I can’t wait for the day to come when we leave. And this time we are flying instead of taking the GreyHound. I have never flown before so I am double excited now!!! YAY!!!!

What a great place to get away. Im from a small town and love the big city. I love the subway, public bus, and revolving doors. Great food and I get to visit with the in-laws. My husband and I need to get away SOON!!!!
