My friend in O/S is coming to visit me here in Australia and says she wants to visit Ayers Rock! I said to her that I’d love to go with her. Great timing :D

I had a look at accommodations and tours there, gawd it’s so expensive. Can’t afford it atm but I’ll keep it here because I definitely want to visit there one day.

It was over 40˚C in the shade. I was suffering from heat exhaustion and motion sickness after the 500 km trip from Alice Springs. But, the rock did not disappoint. I recommend reading up on some of the local Dreamtime stories associated with the area – your visit will be much enhanced.
