I wanted to thank you all – this cheered me considerably. Not that I’ve been ferociously down, but I do tend to descend around this time. Time. The older I get and busier life becomes, the less my birthday seems to matter except for adding to my chronological age.

Some year I’m going to have a good old fashioned birthday party with pink balloons and a sugared violet cake (like the one grandma made when I turned 5). I’ll rent a pony and everything.

For now I’d like to offer everyone a piece of virtual birthday cake and a shot of cinnamon whiskey or a cuppa whatever they so desire. And my sincere thanks :)

And if we could let those 36 bumps slide, I’d be ever so grateful. Cheers to you all (CLINK!). As many as I can muster.
