How to finish cleaning my room

How I did it: I went through my old magazines and tore out only the pages I wanted. I put my uni sheets in plastic bags, never know when I might need them again! Also chucked out all the toys whose sentimental value was outweighed by their cluttersomeness and wretchedness. Lessons & tips: One of our family friends has a marvellous epigram "If you don't use it, you probably never will, so just chuck it". Resources: My mum, who helped vacuum the top of the wardrobe and wiped dust off the wooden panels... thanks, Mum. |

How I did it: My room really wasn't that bad, I had simply been putting off cleaning it for a little while and finally decided it needed to get done. I just went through and organized some papers, throwing away the ones I didn't want. I then proceeded to do my laundry that was in desperate need of getting done. How I did it: I started with getting rid of EVERYTHING I didn't want or need anymore from my wardrobe, and my god there was alot. I sent it all off to charity, and then bought nice new wicker baskets to go ontop of the wardrobe for things like bags etc.After that, I sorted all the books out under my bed and gave them a good clean, threw out all my unwanted underwear and folded them nicely in my bedside drawer, then I sorted my book shelves out and made… Read how I did it…

Fantastic, it’s all spotless and new looking, not that it was that bad before. But it looks great now! There was just one or two makeup stains and that :P

Everything is presently in categorized little piles on the floor. Shelves have been dusted. Now it’s just a matter of putting things back with some sense of organization to them.
Also, I still have the computer desk, two bookshelves, a nightstand, and the bed to do. I plan to tackle whatever is under the bed next. If you believe in prayer, I’d appreciate it. ;)
i really badly need to get my room clean by the beginning of December because i will be getting a puppy in january and don’t want it peeing on all my stuff.
I have a good tip for peolpe trying to acomplish this goal; friends can really help. I was alomost done, and then i stopped. I had gotten busy and unmotivated. My mom and my friend ella helped me finish up, and it only took about 15 minutes.
