GiniP is still getting my life together...
I don’t like to run. I ran 2 miles last week though. I guess I could run more often… And that may even help with the last ten pounds i want to lose..
How I did it: 3 miles seems like SUCH a long distance to run, but I thought it went by so quickly! The hardest part is when you just begin running (because my legs felt like they just weren't going to cooperate!) and at the end. The part where every cell in your body is telling you to stop is when it's most important to keep going! Read how I did it…

Without stopping, before Christmas!
I’m running outside in the mornings, and I can run up to about 1.5 miles without stopping!
Done it for the first time today 31 August 2008
In 28 mins.
Was not as difficult as I expected.
Now to repeat it again later this week (thursday).
I need a decent pair of running shoes – investigate…
i finally did it! i ran very regularly, listened to my body, and was able to jog 3 miles without stopping. feels great, definitely worth doing.
i’m almost there… i can run two miles with still a little left in the tank, but i haven’t pushed myself to the last mile yet… hoping to get there this week
I broke my leg in january.. well, actually someone else broke it when they drove their car into it. Anyway, my rehab is going well and I think this would be an awesome goal to motivate me this summer to push past the hesitation I have about getting rid of my cane and officially walking strong in the city again. So, wish me luck!!
this morning, I ran 1.25 miles, using a “run 3 minutes, walk 30 seconds” technique that really helped me overcome my complete lack of running in the last couple of weeks.
