    when i was a kid rick cerone lined one about three seats over from me on the first base side at Yankee Stadium…somehow i ended up at the bottom of the pile, ball in hand…i’ve been to at least 25 games but that was the only time i even got close…it was incredibly cool, i gotta admit… i still have that ball… and i always tried to overlook cerone’s shortcomings as a hitter afterwards…
