Ice skate outdoors

I think that I have ice skated about three times or so. One time I ice skated outdoors at the beach-very cool to see the ocean and ice skate at the same time!!

i’ve gone skating indoors at the depot quite a bit over the past few years, but i’ve never been outdoors!

last week, it was finally warm enough outside, so we went to the park down the street. it was fantastic. they even had hockey gear, so we got to play for a while. loved it.

I did this the last time I was in Salzburg. They have an open air rink near the fountain where Maria sang “I Have Confidence” in the Sound of Music. I had watched the little kids all afternoon, and later that evening, I decided to give it a whirl. (I think the Gluvine encouraged that decision.) At any rate, it was incredible. My knees were black, blue, purple, and yellow for weeks…. but it was so worth it. I’d love to do it again sometime.
