Jenny is happy.
It seems I have finally come out of a long depression. I am grateful for this good mood I have been experiencing. So grateful!

Really need to do this every day. I’m grateful to have gone to Iceland, seen its glaciers and fjords and waterfalls and fumaroles and mud pots and craters and cities. Grateful to have kitty waiting for me when I returned. Grateful, always, for my friends.

grateful for this sleek black cat who asks permission to jump in my lap, and disregarding the answer, jumps even higher, landing on my warm computer. He fluffs himself, turns green eyes on me, and purrs with such satisfaction that I simply have to relinquish the computer to him. It is now officially a cat-warmer.
to send more good feelings into the universe.
I have to do this, because left to my own devices, I can be really, really nasty. My patience is short, and the older I’ve gotten the less I seem to edit what goes on in my head to make it civil.
I thought about this last week when I was trying to get diabetic supplies through my insurance company. It was unbelievably frustrating…I was put on hold, sent to 3 different offices, given wrong information, asked for information I had already keyed in because it was required by the voicemail system—and when I finally got a human being, I was just plain irritable.
Not their fault that the system was a mess.
Besides, it makes me feel better if I greet each person as though they were long-lost family. It’s like spreading wild flower seeds in the universe.
was laughing with my 2 teens at the dinner table, as we all enjoyed pasta together. My daughter laughed till she snorted. I treasure these moments…
for their positive, fun attitude. It makes it so much more fun to teach!
