This summer I had a lot of free time, and so I perfected a workout routine that did amazing things for me! I felt and looked much better. Now that I’m back in school, I’ve had to adjust to going to the gym rather than being able to do an in-home workout. I’ve also had to work around my schedrule, but I’ve got it down now. I go to the gym Sunday,Tues, Thurs, and Sat. I would go Mon and Wed as well, but I just don’t have the time. My goal is to tone my overall body more, and build endurance. I’d like to get my toned arms and legs and shoulders back from this summer too.

Hmmm… I could go for a run right now, I have the time. However, it slushed last night, so I don’t know how slippery it is out. I don’t want to break anything.
Otherwise it’s the gym later. I really don’t want to do that.

It turns out that even something as fun as rock climbing gets old after awhile. And it doesn’t keep my legs toned at all really. So I’ve started running three days a week to sort of combat that. It’s nice, I get up around 7:30 when my boyfriend goes to class. I eat, digest for half an hour, then go running around campus. Because it’s early I can run wherever without worrying about running into people. And I like to enjoy the early morning sun.

I have been incredibly busy (I’m a full time college student… of course I’m busy :-p) and therefore I have been going back on this goal a bit. I took a 3 day hiatus from going to the gym, but I did make up for it one day by walking a ton. I walked to and from my boyfriends cabin twice, which equals about 4 miles. Not too bad I guess. So really I only skipped two days.
Must get homework done so I can go back to the gym today.

So, running wasn’t really working out for me. It was only enjoyable sometimes, and often it was a struggle to get myself to do my workout. So last week I went and got my climbing certification for the rock wall. I love it! I’ve been back every day. I climb for an hour or two, depending on how much time I have, and I can already feel myself growing much stronger. Rock climbing is a pretty intense workout, especially for the arms and torso.

Wow, I’ve really let this slip. But I’ve been sick and haven’t felt very motivated. But I can feel spring creeping up and it will be bikini season before you know it. So I’m going to be very strict with myself and keep this goal.
-30mins on bike (7miles)
-pull downs (50lbs, 3 of 15)
-kick backs(that’s what I call ‘em) 40lbs, 4 reps of 10
-eliptical 10mins
