I grew up in a non-denominational and utterly soul-less household. Somehow or other I managed to escape and ultimately thrive. Initially, the words “god” and “prayer” frightened me. To this day, many so called “religious” and “devout” ideas and ideologues continue to frighten me. But that does not mean that I can not hang out with the divine. The divine is here, now, in me, in you, in everything. Completely and always accessible. So I shall spend more time hanging out with it.
