violet_sunset is shuttling kids in her minvan

    Untitled 1 month ago

I organized at least 25 little spaces today. Actually, it was half decluttering and half organizing but I did put thought into replacing the items so that every single thing has a specific home. I hear that that is the key to keeping it organized. The kids bathroom looks great. Everything has a home. My desk looks awesome too! I’m going to hit the kitchen and my bedroom to wrap up the 43 things for today. Yayy! I’m so excited to see surfaces again!

My husband organized our first aid shelf. We’ve been wanting to do this for ages. We used a lot of clear plastic zipper bags to organize similar items and then “filed” the bags in a basket. Now you can see what you’re looking for!

    Big Start 3 months ago

So I attempted tackleing my attic/upstairs room. I got a lot done. Creating labels and putting things together is the easy part. The difficult part is getting myself to throw things away is the hard part. I found out that I have at least 30 pairs of nail clippers. That is where I get stuck. When I find multiples of items like this and don’t know what to do with them. Any way I got a lot done. I still have a lot to do but I did get a big start.

    Start Today 3 months ago

I suppose instead of being on the computer I could organize at least one thing a day. I will start today. I have no idea what to begin with. I guess I’ll have to put it in order of importance. I can’t even cook because my kitchen is in such disarray.

I need to get started on this, I believe I can get this done today and tomorrow if I really throw myself into it. Here’s hoping! ;)

    My home 4 months ago

looks like someplace I would want to live. It is not only organized but we even cleaned it.
All that is left is the garage and the stuff in the storage unit which will now fit back here.

    About 165 lbs of it.

It's so much easier to find a home for my stuff 5 months ago

when there is more room to put things away.
Trust me I had a lot of stuff but I’m not going to be tossing out all of my worldly possessions. I like my things. My clothes, books, photos, crafting supplies. Plus all the things that make a house a home, kitchen supplies, linens, games & toys, holiday decor. All the things a 44 year old wife would have to run a home with a couple of kids cats and a dog.

43 organizing jobs for the summer 6 months ago

So, I’ve organized the basement storage room, my desktop, my seasonal clothing. That leaves 40 more things to organize. I’m busy today so I’ll need to find a small thing to organize, even if it’s one drawer or shelf.
