Not sure about the new pricing structure. I enjoyed while I had it. I don’t have the commute that I did and with the advent of podcasting my ears were already occupied.

... not because of Audible.com, but because the Ipod Nano that I ordered in conjunction with the service is on backorder until who knows when. The Ipod is through Mobileplanet.com so it’s not Audible’s fault that I haven’t gotten to use their service yet. Hopefully eventually I’ll be able to change this to a “worth doing”.

My experience with audible.com has (almost) only been positive. The audio books are generally well produced and the price, when you subscribe, is reasonable.
The only problem I’ve had was when I didn’t buy my two books one month and they only reluctantly let me buy them the next month – initially they were going to let me lose those two books. That policy is ridicilous – beware.
