the status of each box. While some still need to be organized, those involve a deeper job than just pitching and donating. So I have put up a more specific goal of organizing and narrowing the contents of those boxes. That means I can feel good about checking this off knowing I’m not “cheating.” Also I will set an e-mail reminder so I remember to go through my holiday box at a time of year when I can feel more confident that the thrift stores won’t throw the stuff in the dumpster.
