Take a day trip to Homosassa Springs to see the manatees.

I only have 5 days left before I head there. I plan to go Saturday (Labor Day weekend) and spend the day. I just have to be sure my health is allowing me to do this now. I pray I can go. I adopted one of the manatees online that is there. How darn cool is that?

This was something I will never forget! My ex and I used to go to Florida for Christmas holidays and stay in Tarpon Springs. This was one of our outings, and those big, loveable creatures just gave me shivers.

Another lovely memory of Florida was watching dolphins playing as we were driving on the causeway and me chasing an armadillo (the first I had ever seen) with my camera to get a picture! LOL

I want to try to accomplish this one over Labor Day weekend when I’ll have more time.
I can do this on Saturday and still have Sun & Mon for the other things I always neglect when I take these trips.

I have been so busy I haven’t had time to even think about going but I will make it come hell or high water.
Hopefully this fall I’ll get there.

I’m thinking I’ll do this sometime in August. I want to try and space my little trips over 3 month periods.
That way I can have more to look forward to and can save money.

I’ll wait until after my trip to St Augustine but I’ll do this. Maybe sometime near the 4th of July. It’s only a 2 hour trip one way. I can leave early, spend the entire day, have dinner and still be back home before dark.
Oh this surely sounds like a good plan to me.
