memorize the 23rd psalm

now I hope I keep it.

This has been really good for me. It’s been nice to think and think about these verses. I love them now.

left out a few things, changed a few words, punctuation…

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures
He leadeth me beside still waters
He restoreth my soul
He leadeth me on the path of righteousness for His name’s sake
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I shall fear no evil for thou art with me
He maketh a table before me in the presence of mine enemies
He anointeth me with oil
My cup runneth over
Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever

I’ll read it a bunch of times today and see how much sinks in

looked it up in the MESSAGE bible, loved reading it in this version, but I think I will memorize the old King James way since I’ve heard it that way so much maybe it will be easier for my old brain. I’m not good at memorizing things.
