teach my daughters to cook and sew

my oldest daughter asked for a sewing machine for christmas! she actually is thinking more in the direction of using it in her sculptures. anyway- I got her started in making a small, easy, first project, it’s looking pretty good so far. It’s a bit of a joke, really- it’s an apron- but it’s funky cute! I’m anxious to see it all finished! She took it back to her apartment to finish it up.

Wow! C made 6 great pies for Thanksgiving. 4 pumpkin, 1 apple with a cheese crust, and triple berry- so good! J made that yummy pretzel strawberry jello I love, and a delicious salad with cranberries, mandrin oranges, and almonds, YUM! I’m a proud mom.
