And therefore I want to be able to see what he’s teasing me about!!
How I did it: Watching movies online where the picture trails the volume; watching muted tv. It's a bit of a redundant practice since you can't ever read all words completely accurately.
It's more about interpreting facial expressions and hand gestures. I think catching the gist of a conversation is success enough, I'm not deaf - yet.

I got inspired while watching Monk one day, and decided that it would be VERY useful. I already do sometimes in TV openings, if I remember a clip from one of the episodes. Let’s do it!
Sometimes I have a really hard time hearing people, and I feel horrible when I have to continuously ask people to repeat what they said. If I could read lips, things would be a lot easier, but for some reason I’ve always had trouble with that too.

Although it would be useful, i just don’t feel the need in having this on my list right now.
I speak spanish and english is my second language, also I know a bit of french (just the basics) but now Im interested on learning how to read lips.
what is the best way to do it?

dvd?
I don’t know.
suggestions please.
thank you.
