I finished Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince yesterday. (I started it on Friday.) It was great, as all of them have been. And upon completion of that book, I have completed my goal of reading 6 books for the summer. Yay! With just 2 weeks before classes start back up again!
If I can find another one I want to read, I have more than enough time to finish a seventh.

Book number five was Staying Fat for Sarah Byrnes. I thought it was great…Read it in one day at work. And now I gave it to my friend so she can read it.
Book number six is going to be the sixth Harry Potter book. I’m going to start it on Friday.

I’m not sure which day I finished The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. It may have been the previous week. Anyway, I thought it was great.
Four down, two more to go, with a little under 5 weeks before school starts!

I just finished A Moveable Feast by Ernest Hemingway (my favorite author).
Three down (assuming Black Boy counts), three to go.
So of the original six books I had decided on, I’ve read one, so far.
This goal should have been read at least six books this summer.

Second book down.
I re-read Black Boy by Richard Wright. I originally read it over 5 years ago…Does it count towards my 6 books if I had already read it??

Well, my list is being revised. I guess I don’t really know what books I want to read. But I have one down…”The Five People You Meet In Heaven” by Mitch Albom. I borrowed it from a friend earlier today…around 5:00 pm or 6:00 pm maybe, and I didn’t really have much else to do today, so I just read the whole time. One down, five to go.
