I missed it, and I’m really bummed. I decided not to move to England, and I wasted a bunch of money on the idea that I was going to move. Maybe I’ll get to see him someday.

I saw him in concert today for the second timei in my life!!!!! yay! It was in Hamburg and it was just great and I want to do it again (for the third time then ;-) )!!!
I picked up my ticket from the post office this week. I’m going to see Peter Gabriel!!!!! My flight gets into Heathrow the morning of the 27th. Now I just have to figure out how to get to Charlton Park in time to get a spot with a decent view of the stage…
I bought a ticket to go to the WOMAD festival in the UK on 7/27. Peter Gabriel is headlining. He’s a cofounder of WOMAD, so I bet he’ll put on an awesome show there. Yippee!
He’s going to be playing at the 25th anniversary of the WOMAD festival in the UK on 7/27. That’s technically still during my school semester. I’m going to be moving to the UK around that time, so I’ll have to decide if I can have everything ready by then – I’m not goint to fly there and back for the concert then fly back a couple of weeks later. I’ll decide by tomorrow.
As a lifelong Peter Gabriel fan, I found the show I went to a little cliche, but still – an excellent performance by any standards. It just felt a little too rehearsed – like I was watching a concert video rather than an actual concert.
Peter Gabriel’s music has long been a part of who I am. I saw him in concert at the Up and Us shows. Beautiful, moving, spiritual shows…Can’t imagine life without his music in it. Would love to meet him in person one day. Is there anything more powerful than a stadium full of people moved to joining Peter as he chants “oh-oh-oh” as it is sung at the end of Biko? I don’t think so :-)
I’ve seen his growing up tour and his secret world tour… on DVD :( I want to see him live soooooooooooooooooooooooo bad.
Saw him on the second night of the “Growing Up Live” tour. Utterly unbelievable.
cmlasalle is back on 43Things - it's been awhile - time to rethink...
Peter Gabriel is my hero and I’ve seen him on his last three tours (for the So, Us and Up albums). His live shows are amazing to hear AND see, as they always have a theatrical element to them. If you have the opportunity, go!
