Which should be in by Thursday. I want to have my skirt finished before I go to Colorado this summer. Seems like perfect travel clothes: no wrinkling, comfortable to wear, and CUTE!
Final yarn choice: The elann.com Sonata in French Navy for the main color, with Tapestry Blue and Alaskan Blue for lighter colored scallops!

This pattern takes about eight skeins of the main color and one each of the two accent colors, so I’ve been hunting to find an affordable, quality cotton yarn. I think I’ve found it, too: elann.com’s Sonata, which has a beautiful range of blues. The reviews I’ve seen of the yarn are promising, and it’s so much cheaper than what’s called for in the pattern…

...so I have to do it, right?
Ideally, I’ll do it so that I can actually wear it this summer!
