How I did it: since the start of the year I have been reading a book a month, sometimes more. I keep a pile of books on my bedside table and just read when I can. Read how I did it…

How I did it: Before I began attempting this goal I could never manage to read a book all the way through due to having a really bad attention span. I am 23 years old and have been a huge fan of books and reading all of my life; however over the past five or six years, I have been 'unable' to read a story from start to finish as I would get so easily distracted and after a while the simple task of reading would begin to feel more like a chore than a p… Read how I did it…

How I did it: I joined a reading circle and use that as my motivation to finish the books. Each month's discussion opens up the book to new interpretations that I might have missed. Read how I did it…

Ahh… So it took me two months to read this book.
It’s not that it takes me that long to read it, but I get distracted and blah blah blah.
Plus… this book wasn’t very interesting until a little bit into the book.
I only recommend this to die hard Stephenie Meyer fans… which I’m pretty sure there are a lot out there.
I love reading but seldom make the time for it. I’d like to commit to reading at least one book a month for the next 12 months. Right now I’m reading “The Power of Now” by Eckhardt Tolle. I’d like to have to finish by the end of the this month (June).
This month I read The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins. I have spent the last 2 years learning a lot about the truth about religion and what a joke it is and how many problems it has caused which is why I was very interested in this book.
I enjoyed reading it and it made a lot of sense. I had already heard a lot of the arguments against the existence of God so a lot of it was not new to me but I think Richard Dawkins puts things in a way that explains the absurdity of religious belief very well.

May read: Twenty Wishes – This book led me to think about my life goals/wishes
I want to expand my knowledge and repertoire beyond online newspapers and periodicals.
