Read every book on my 2007 reading list

Until I started on this goal I’d never been much of a reader, apart from compulsory reading for school of course! Until recently, I could probably count the all novels I’ve ever read on one hand!

Now I have finished reading Paullina Simon’s power-packed triology (‘The Bronze Horseman’, ‘The Bridge to Holy Cross’ and ‘The Summer Garden’)comprising the best part of 2,000 pages in all and I’m on a roll!

The Undomestic Goddess, by Sophie Kinsella

I’ve had a couple of bombs too:
My Year of Cooking Dangerously by Julie Powell (I didn’t gel with the main character).
Chocolat, by Joanne Harris(I just couldn’t get into the rhythm of the book – perhaps I’ll try and pick it up again later). 4 years ago

This is a new project and I’m loving it already. I’ve begun with Paullina Simons popular triology (beginning with The Bronze Horseman). I’m finding the books enriching, inspiring and life changing.

I’ve started a ‘Books to Read in 2007’ list on this site. It’s pretty ambitious though! 4 years ago
