This is going to be very difficult. I am leaving Australia – probably December/January (mid-summer!) to meet my sister in freezing cold mid-winter London. I’m in a bind. I love summer (oh so much) but really want a change of pace and can’t wait to travel!
She did promise we can holiday to Portugal where it is nice and warm. I guess I should really try to hold off on that ticket for as long as possible - but I want to start earning the Euro!

its been hot as balls out. that’s kind of like avoiding the winter.
so therefore, so far it hasnt been that difficult to achieve this goal. but i know february will not be so warm. it will take all of my might to make sure i stay functioning normally.
more as it develops.

ok so there really isnt any way to actually “avoid” the winter, but this summer has been so busy and nuts that, once winter comes, i should have a nice layer of “Awesome” to hibernate with. kinda like bear fat, only, its not a tangible thing. the awesomeness will still trickle in throughout the winter.
come to think of it, last summer wasn’t that warm, and this winter was so cold. this summer is ‘hot as balls’, i’ve nary a dull moment, and i can only hope that global warming ups the temp a few degrees come january
then everything will be somewhat tolerable. yeah?
